Is Norilsk depressing?

There are lots of people who believe so.  How can they reach such conclusion without actually being here?  Well, they rely in other people "experiences", but they may have to think twice after hearing what Norilsk people have to say about their hometown.

Of course their lives are limited by the extreme weather, but they find other ways to have fun, relax.  They find different, maybe for some unusual ways to live and love.

Is Norilsk like Elena Chernyshova portraited it?

Of course we can't deny that we have our own issues, and that some of them are really important, but we don't think everything is as boring, melancholic, miserable, sad, unhappy, gloomy, dejected, downhearted, despondencic, dispiritednessed, low spirited, morosenesseed, discouraged as in Elena Chernyshova images.

Norilsk is not as depressing as in Elena Chernyshova photographs.

Skiing, clubbing, snowboarding, zumba dancing, pole dancing...

Norilsk people make the most of their free time and just try to live their lives with the regular concerns of any other people.  We may feel sad and depressed as people in any other city of the world.  Our character may be some times open and easy, and other suspicious and closed.  Could anybody could tell a city where everybody is always happy?

Foreigners think something is wrong when they say that they are proud of their city.  Why not? Even in the hardest conditions we find very good reasons to be proud.

Our women are beautiful, our man are strong, our economy is booming, our life expectancy is increasing, as our hearts beat with life and love.

Is Norilsk depressing? Is Norilsk a graveyard?

None of them.  Norilsk people know how to have fun.  Norilsk people are full of life.
